The post holder will undertake responsibilities as a member of the Central Trust Team to provide efficient and effective financial support required to meet the Trust’s core financial responsibilities.
As a growing Trust, we are seeking a Finance Assistant to join the Equals Trust central team to support our Chief Finance Officer (CFO) in the efficient and effective delivery of the Trust’s financial aims and objectives and ensure compliance with the Trust Finance Policy & Procedures and the ESFA Financial Handbook.
As the Finance Assistant, your main duties will be:
o invoice processing for centrally paid items and funding.
o Set up and maintain supplier accounts and details on the finance system.
o Prepare supplier payments and reconciliation of the central Trust bank account on a weekly basis.
o Ensuring data is accurately transferred between systems in a timely manner.
o Assisting with the monthly payroll reconciliation and processing.
You will be part of and contribute towards a strong team ethic to support school leaders, the executive team, the CEO and directors to ensure that the Equals Trust ethos and strategic aims and objectives are promoted.
