Netherfield Primary School is a 2-form entry primary school in the suburb of Netherfield on the east of Nottingham. We are looking to appoint two Learning Mentors to support two named children in Reception and one named child in Year 5.
Applications are invited from suitably qualified applicants for this post. The successful candidate will work under the direct instruction of teaching/senior staff.
Work may be carried out in the classroom or outside the main teaching area, alongside a teacher/senior member of staff.

1. Enjoys being with children and puts children’s well-being at the heart of all they do
2. Has experience of working with children with SEND and has high aspirations for their achievement
3. Believes in every child and makes sure individuals are appropriately supported
4. Demonstrates a good standard of written and spoken English
5. Works well in a team, valuing every member of the school community
6. Has a positive attitude
7. Is a good team-player with strong communication and interpersonal skills
8. Is enthusiastic, hardworking and highly motivated
