Burton Joyce Primary School is a 1.5-form entry primary school in the village of Burton Joyce, in the borough of Gedling, Nottinghamshire. We aim to provide a wide range of learning experiences where children will gain a positive self-image to help them on their path as successful and happy life-long learners. We inspire our children to fulfil their own potential in all areas of learning and life. We provide them with a safe, happy and nurturing environment where they feel motivated to develop a passion for learning, a love of discovery and equipped with the skills to be ready for anything. Above all, children will be at the centre of all we do.
You will need to have a knowledge of the primary curriculum, a commitment to achieving the highest standards and have a strongly held belief that all children can achieve. We will expect you to be reflective about your own practice and keen to contribute to your own learning and professional development. However, first and foremost, we are looking for the right people to add to our special team and applications are welcome from candidates who have a willingness to be part of a creative and ambitious.
