Teaching Assistant

Wadsworth Fields Primary School are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and compassionate Grade 2 Teaching Assistant to join our hardworking Foundation Stage Team.

At Wadsworth Fields our Be the Best You Can Be motto is embedded in our school ethos and we are looking for a Teaching Assistant who is able to encourage and support each child in achieving that, setting them up with strong foundations as they begin their journey in school.

Working in a FS2 class, you will be joining a strong and supportive Foundation Stage Team who strive to provide the best learning opportunities for our children.

We are looking for someone who:

·        Has experience of working in FS2

·        Has an understanding of the EYFS curriculum

·        Has experience of teaching phonics groups

·        Has the desire to make a real difference to our children

·        Has a caring, patient attitude and is calm under pressure

·        Has a positive attitude and puts children at the heart of everything they do

·        Is able to work under direction, but use their initiative when required to

·        Is a strong team player, willing to go the extra mile to make school a great experience for our pupils

·        Has high expectations of achievement and behaviour

·        Is able to form positive relationships with parents and communicate effectively with them
