Teaching Assistant

We are looking for an enthusiastic teaching assistant to join our hardworking and dedicated Key Stage 2 staff team. This is an ideal opportunity for you to work in a supportive environment and to share and develop your skills and expertise.

Working across classes, you will be joining a strong and supportive team who strive to provide the best learning opportunities for our children. The role will include supporting in class as well as delivering intervention groups.

We are looking for someone who:

·        Has experience of working in KS2

·        Has an understanding of the national curriculum

·        Has experience of the teaching of reading and phonics groups

·        Has high expectations of achievement and behaviour

·        Has the desire to make a real difference to our children

·        Has a caring, patient attitude and is calm under pressure

·        Has a positive attitude and puts children at the heart of everything they do

·        Believes in the capacity of all young people to learn and grow, despite the various challenges they face.

·        Is able to work under direction, but use their initiative when required to

·        Is a strong team player, willing to go the extra mile to make school a great experience for our pupils
